Fabrication Machine Operator III

Our Fabrication positions on 2nd shift run 4 – 10 hour shifts with Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. Overtime on Friday if needed.

IEA’s Fabrication Machine Operator III is an advanced level machine operator position in the Company with specific responsibility for set-up and operation of CNC Controlled forming (Brake Presses), cutting (CNC Saw), and machining equipment (Haas Machining Center). The FMO III may also be required to assist in the operation and/or set-up of other fabricating equipment (Mazak laser, Turret Presses, Misc. forming machinery). The FMO III receives specific work assignments under limited supervision and resolves most problems with limited supervisory assistance. All work is subject to first piece and final inspections and testing to minimize metal damage and control excess labor and material expense. The FMO III is expected to practice and adhere to the department’s 5-S standards and the Company’s Six Sigma principles.
